Just a moment to VENT

OK I know that this is silly of me to get annoyed with and to be bothered by, but I AM.
It seems to happen every time the girls are crying when I am out. Granted I have two babies and maybe they feel bad for me.. but does anyone else get annoyed by people trying to tell you how to take care of your baby if they are crying???
Today I was out at Walmart getting some slippers for my 3 year old step daughter and Ruby was asleep and woke up crying tired major freak out, but I know that cry, it is the I woke up and want to go back to sleep cry...

SO this woman came up to me (first off tries to touch the babies which I HATE.. do not touch a sleeping baby) and tells me she thinks my baby is hungry. I politely tell her that she is not hungry but tired as she just woke up from what should be a longer nap.
She continues to say that she has 6 children and she knows what a tired cry is, and that my baby is hungry... I again politely as I could tell her that she is not hungry that she ate less than an hour ago and that she is just tired and wants me to keep the stroller moving...She continues on about being hungry and says she will pick her up if I am going to ignore her...ARGH I start trying to stroll away and she just kept saying she thinks she is hungry....

Granted this has happened more than once, but not to that extreme, but more people saying do you need my help to calm your babies.... I politely decline and say they are just tired, or just fussy..

What do you guys do if or when this happens to you???

Maybe I am overreacting with being really bothered by it!

Babies First Rain Storm

So we just got back from Cap Pele about 2 hours from where we live on a mini vacation. Actually it was a work retreat for my husband and he was in meetings part of the day and then there were groups dinners and socializing. All in all, it was a great time and the babies were excellent for us. We had our own lovely Chalet and the only downside was the HEAT. It has been an extremely HOT AND HUMID week. We are talking about 44Celcius with the humidity.. VERY HOT and the girls were doing well but it was still hot for them. (NO AC).. So one afternoon we had a thundershower pass through and we decided to cool off the girls in the warm rain. It only lasted about 5 minutes at the most but it was enough time for them to cool down and for me to get some cute shots.

I love being married to Adam, he is exactly what I need.

Not the greatest photo of the before, but trust me the flowered wallpaper and the orange/gold paint and trim was not to be highly desired...

I decided to see if the girls would watch TV as they seem to have an interest in it when it is on. So I popped in one of the kids videos and put them in their baby bumbos and this is what happened. It did not last more than 15 minutes but it was really cute.

Wordless Wednesday

So I am going to adopt the Wordless Wednesday (and try to remember)

My former roommate Deborah took this photo.. Can't wait to see the rest.

Return to the Homeland

We had a wonderful trip with the twins to Utah visiting my family and friends, but we were so happy to get home and sleep in our own beds and have the girls back on their schedule.

I will get some posts up with a few photos from the trip..

First I must say that the girls were SO great on the flights.
Adam and I were not able to sit next to each other because of their only being on extra oxygen mask per seat bank, so my brother who came with us sat with Adam and Ruby and I had Charlotte by myself. It worked so well on the way down that we did the same thing on the way back. The girls really were great.. They barely cried except for the last flight from Toronto to Saint John when they were overtired and I think their ears hurt (at least mine did)

So to start things off, here are a couple photos of the girls from the plane in their seats! Of course they really were sitting with us, but I guess both of us could not resist taking a photo of them in the seat.. (too bad we were using our IPhones and not the real camera)

Thank you again to my family and friends for putting us up and entertaining us while we were all there. We miss you already!
