Allow me to Vent AGAIN

OK I know I should stop venting and I am not really sure what has gotten into me lately, but I seem to be easily annoyed by people who just... well... are just... you will see.

SO the other morning I dropped my husband off at work which is not in our usual morning routine as he takes the bus to work and I decided since we were out and packed up in the car that I would head out to Walmart and pick up a few things we needed.
I got there before the store opened at 8 (which I have never experienced before) so I drove around for a few extra minutes keeping the babies asleep and decided to pull in a few minutes early and get the babies into the stroller. So I pull into a parking spot designated for parents with babies or pregnant women. (On a side note I love these parking spaces) So getting out of the car this other car pulls into a parking spot beside me and out get two 55-60 year old husband and wife. Yes, the parked in a spot for new moms and pregnant women. I was looking at them and the sign and them and the sign and finally I could not hold my tongue any longer. I asked them quite politely if they realized the parked in a space which is designated for new parents or pregnant women??? They looked me straight in the eye and said yes! Here is where I normally do not say anything but perhaps now that I am a new mother I felt entitled to say something. I responded by saying, "You DO realize that the parking space right next to the one you parked in is available and NOT designated for new parents or pregnant women and that the couple of extra steps I doubt would have done you any harm??"

Yes I KNOW what you are thinking... not Jenny how could you say that...
You are all thinking... Seriously the parking space next to it was available... YES YES YES it was.. in face, the entire parking lot was almost empty...

ARGH... why must people do these things to annoy me????

That's up there with the time I saw a girl.....going to the gym to WORK OUT...who parked in a handicap spot! When there was hardly anyone there and the parking lot was super small. Good for you for saying something. Pfff...people are just not considerate. (I was gonna say dumb but thought that'd be rude)

Barb Muise and I had that happen before when we were out with our new babies.....8 years ago....she got out, gave the woman a piece of her mind and she moved.....so we could have the spot. She was pushing 60 and not having a baby anytime soon......so annoying when that happens. Good for you for saying something!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who says something. It makes me crazy to see people (usually men w/o kids) parking in these spots while I push my triple stroller from 30 spots away.
